Serial Flash products from 512Kb through 128Mb densities are available in 8-pin packages with low profile with a maximum height of 1mm. The WSON package comes in 6x5mm and 8x6mm packages, whereas the USON package comes in 2x3mm, 4x3mm and 4x4mm sizes. The WLBGA packages are the tiniest of the lot which are about the size of the dies used for these packages. All these packages have been designed in on multiple applications and are being purchased in significant volume.
